Welcome to Rhode Island College!

All undergraduate/graduate degree/non-degree studen​ts have been assigned a MyRIC Account username. You will use this MyRIC Account username to create a Password, which will give you access to MyRIC.

*High school students registering for EEP classes do not need to do this unless they are also planning to take a course on the RIC campus.

Standard MyRIC Account Setup Instructions

To CREATE your new password:

To begin using your RIC account (or to regain access to RIC email, Blackboard, and MyRIC), you will need to set an initial password. Set a new password by visiting Setting your Password.

NOTE: To further enhance security for students, the system will require strong passwords (i.e., passwords containing 10-14 characters, no names or repeating characters and at least one of each of the following: upper case, lower case, number, and a special character).

Your MyRIC Account gives you access to​:

  • MyRIC Portal
  • RIC Computer Labs
  • RIC Email System – Office 365
  • RIC Learning Management System - Blackboard
